Then in 1999 Bubba was recruited by a mom and pop chain in central Texas to expand their operation from three stores to twelve. After successfully helping to expand that business, Bubba decided to open a small store for himself. Bubba’s Beds opened in Tomball, Texas in 2001. His competitors hate him because his prices are so low and his selection is so huge! When he figured out that the local furniture store’s customers were hearing about him from them because the other stores would tell them not to shop at Bubba’s, he decided to start selling furniture cheap too just like he does mattresses.
Then in 2006 Bubba, being the redneck that he is, decided that he wanted to decorate his house with rustic hair-on cowhide furniture. So he went shopping and found out that everyone selling “Rustic Furniture” was outrageous on their pricing. Now he figured he could make a bunch of new enemies to tell their customers about his store by selling Rustic Furniture cheaper than everyone else too! Bubba’s Beds now, not only carries a huge selection of mattresses like Stearns and Foster, Sealy Posturpedic, Lady Americana, I.B.C. , Sleep Designs, and Corsicana, But now has an enormous selection of rustic furniture. Bubba’s Beds even has a nice selection of rustic lamps and accessories including country themed oil paintings, cowhide rugs, extra large cowhides, and framed prints. Bubba’s Beds now sells between five and eight truckloads of furniture every week! All because his prices are so low, he has a huge selection, and his competitors HATE him!
